Escape from the Island of Aquarius

The Coopers, Dr.Cooper, Lila Cooper, Jay Cooper were sailing through the seas, and they found a body that had an Aquarus symbol. So they went to an island and met Stuart Kelno who said he was Adam-the person the Coopers  were searching for. Then he told them about the curse of moro-kunda. When the Coopers found about it, Stuart Kelno threw Dr. and Jay Cooper down a waterfall, the REAL Adam Mcenzie caught them and helped them escape. Lila Cooper was brought by Stuart Kelno to be eaten by the so-called "god" of the island. It was a huge snake that tried to eat her.But Candle saved Lila's life, and so they found the Coopers and Adam. In the end, they all found each other and sailed away. I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure books. My favorite part was when they finally found out what the curse was about.

Christmas in India and Portugal

India and Portugal

There are two countries where I like to celebrate Christmas- India and Portugal. I have been

to both countries and I like how they have their own traditions for Christmas. They have

similarites; however, they also have differences.

Christmas in India and Portugal have many similarities. Both countries invite friends and

family to celebrate Christmas. India and Portugal are also alike because Santa Claus brings gifts to

the children. In the same way, they decorate their houses by with a manger in their houses. On

Christmas Eve, they also go to church for Midnight Mass.

Christmas in the countries have some differences. Because Portugal is in the continent of

Europe, Santa Claus is called ‘Pai Natal’. But in India, located in Asia, the people call Santa,

‘Christmas Baba’. For Christmas dinner in India, people eat curries. On the other hand, in

Portugal, people eat codfish. Portugal decorates a regular Christmas tree; however, India decorates a

mango or a banana tree for their Christmas tree. In contrast, Portugal has carolers that sing for the

people, but India does not have carolers.

Even though I like Portugal’s traditions, I prefer more of India’s traditions. The reason is

because most of my family lives in India and I enjoy spending time with them at Christmas. My

favorite tradition is eating, decorating, and spending time with my family.

Beyblade Burst: Valt and Victory Valtryek

Victory Valtryek is an attack type Bey that can tear through almost any Bey. Its special move is Rush Launch that is able to take any Bey. Its owner Valt is a great communicater. His inthusoasom and energy are off the charts! His brother and sister are Toco and Nica wich are always backing him off. Valt has some pretty cool friend. They are Rantaro, Ken, Shu, Wakia, and Xander, and all together they know a lot obout Beys. Valt’s rival is Shu with his Bey Storm Sprizen. The two of them have a really tight friendship. Beyblade is everything to Valt. The Beyblade phrase is,

Thunderstorms
The thunderstorm I witnessed was the most scariest thunderstorm and the most severe thunderstorm. Then it went crash, boom, and ban to our ears! It rained really really hard. Then the thunder bited a bit of our roof off. It was norm and the storm costed the whole day. It got more and more worse. It was the worst day of the year for me. We had to stay in our house the whole day. The day after that, the storm calmed down, water was everywhere, but I felt more happy that the Sunshine was back. Now that it didn’t rain we can go anywhere like Colombo.

How to play Monkey Banana

I’m going to teach you how to play monkey banana. First pick a friend to be the monkey. Second, the monkey has to close her or his eyes. Third the monkey cannot peek. Then, the monkey has to walk with her or his eyes closed. When, the monkey touches someone, that person is the next monkey. When recass is over, time to go to our classroom.

Encouragement Week

Encouragement week is this week! Encouragement week is a week when we plan for the gifts and reveal the secret friend on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday we plan for Encouragement week and bring the gifts to school.
On Monday the whole Elementary school went to Miss Peter’s room and sang some songs. Then the gifts were delivered and we shared our gifts at lunch.
After school we shared the gifts for tomorrow. When we go to bed, we guess who our secret friend is.

A Class Trip to Ola

We went to Ola in Mrs. Bouma’s car! Mr. Boma was there. It was
a class trip. We arrived at Ola. We couldn’t​ find a place for the car, but luckily we found one. We ate really delicious ice cream. At a park near the Ola store, we climbed a ladder and slid down the slide. The class got into the car and when we got back to school, I told my parents all about it.
